Well it was off to California we go. Tasha & Logan are having there Reception there so we decided to go a few days before and make a vacation out of it. We didn't have a lot of money so we researched things to do around Riverside for fairly cheap. Our first stop was the Botanical Gardens at one of the University's in the area. The students that are studying horticulture put together this garden and let the public come in for free. They ask that you leave a donation if you want. The area was beautiful and some of the flowers were in bloom after all it was only March. We found some pretty cool plants and the area itself was fun to explore as we were hiking around.

These cactus trees were cool!! They reminded us of something out of a Dr. Suess book.

Brittany wanted to give the cactus a hug.

All of the orange trees that we had seen were all loaded with fruit. It made the air around us smell so good.
There were very beautiful flowers as well as some unusual but cool cactus. The whole park was very interesting. We also ran into a lot of hummingbirds and lizards some we had seen before and some new ones that the kids were fascinated with. It was a very pretty park that we all enjoyed.
