We had been to the Gardens and now we had been to the beach. As we were deciding where to go next a couple of ideas came up, movies, dinner and then I suggested Hollywood Boulevard. I told them there wasn't a whole lot to do but just to go and see Hollywood Blvd and experience it. I was telling the kids, they have people that dress up like characters and try to get you to take pictures with them and then you pay them for it. Just as I was telling them this we were getting closer and sure enough we saw versions of Michael Jackson, Bumblebee, Wolverine, Barney, Wonder Woman, Spiderman and many versions of Elvis just to name a few. I let the kids know if they approach you just keep walking and they will move on to the next person. We went to the Chinese Theatre and that is where they have the hand prints and footprints in cement of a lot of actors and actresse's. The building itself was pretty ornate and was very detailed. It was very neat to see that kind of architecture.

The kids liked this fountain just outside of the Chinese Theater.

Of course we had to get a picture with the giant wax figure of Shrek!!

The stars were just in the middle of the sidewalks we were walking down we took pictures of quite a few but I just posted a couple. I figured I had a lot of pictures already so I better just pick one or two of them. But we found Mickey Mouse, Kermit the Frog, Robin Williams, Godzilla, the Munchkins, and many many more.

As we came into the courtyard we found more cool buildings.
Then in the middle of the mall we found the Kodak Theater. I was telling the kids about the awards shows they hold there along with many other shows. I honestly don't think they cared they were just happy to be out and about. I felt the same way. It was nice to be on this getaway with the family enjoying each others time. The only question is where to go next?
