So after we sent Tasha to college amazingly life still went on. Tianna had her 13th Birthday. She was SO excited to be able to have a party. I have not done as many parties for my kids as I had hoped to do. I try to let them have a party every other year but life does not always allow this to happen. Either way, we invited her friends over and the craziness began.

The girls made their own candy necklaces, but in all honesty I think they ate most of the candy before it actually made a necklace!! The sugar was induced and the present opening started. We made her friends do "heavy, heavy hangover" her poor head. The girls were a little shy at first but then they warmed up to it very quickly.

After the gifts were opened I filled the girls with more sugar and took them home. I am sure their mother's loved me for that!! I believe the entire party was a success. Tia certainly looks happy and she enjoyed all her gifts and her friends that were able to make it to the party.
Later that night we were able to give her our gifts. She wanted a speaker system for her Ipod SO bad so we got her one along with some gift cards and a few other things. Now my biggest challenge is handeling 3 teenagers, Yikes!! Wish me luck. Happy Birthday Tia I hope you enjoyed your day and we Love You Tons!!

So my baby is growing up way too fast!! Tasha is off to college and she is very excited and very ready!! Tanner has had a melt down many times now thinking that she would be gone for good. Tasha and Tanner have a really close relationship and he already misses her.

But we cannot fool anyone we will all miss her!! She is a fun personality to have in our home and she makes us all laugh.

So the cleaning and the packing of the room began along with the tears. Once we got the room all packed up then we had to figure out how to get it all in the van.

Alas with all the seats down, minus the three out of seven we were using, we got all her stuff in. She gave her room a hug and she said her goodbyes to Blanding as we hit the road.

Once we got there it was a bitter sweet experience. This is a picture of her new home and she was so excited but still in disbelief.

Darta Gomes found out we were in Provo / Orem area and he came right over to greet us. The smile is cause Darta was giving Logan, Elder Williams, a hard time about hugging Logan's want to be girlfriend first and he wanted to rub it in his face. What a tease!!

Once we got all her stuff moved in we went to the grocery store and bought a bunch of groceries for her so that she would have enough to get her by. With the looks of all the counters covered I think they were able to clean and eat pretty well!! She was welcomed by her roommate and friends and you can tell by the smile on her face she was excited to get to it and it was our time to go.

After we dropped her off it seemed like it was one of the longest drives home. I held it together when I was with her but as soon as Loren and I got into the van to head back home I lost it!! I think I cried for 3 hours of the 5 hour drive. I know I am a baby but I have never experienced anything like that after all she is my first!! We went through a lot in our life with her growing up. A lot of life she does not recall or know about so it was really hard for me to let her go. I know they say the first is always the hardest but I bet it will be equally hard to let them all go one by one. I will miss her but she will do great. I love my kids very much as I am sure we all do.

Well life has been busy and a lot has happened since my last post. Tasha Graduated from High School it was a lot of fun. Her class was a great group of kids and they all will be missed.

Jeremy passed 5th grade and has started Middle School. He was very sad to see Mr. Bowers go he loved their B.Y.U. and Uof U teasing back and forth. He was very nervous about starting Middle School but very excited. He loves his classes and he does very well in them.

Brittany is now a Junior in High School. She has made some wonderful friends and she does very well in her studies. She is on the drill team again this year and although it is early mornings she loves to dance!!
Tianna is in 7th grade so she gets to show Jeremy around the school now. We went to California for our family reunion and she loved hanging out with her cousins. She also enjoyed her 13th B-day with her friends.

Tanner is in 4th grade. So now I have kids in all three schools and I am grateful for Loren who helps me get them to and from school. Tanner and some of the other kids got to be in the parade and Tanner loved it. We also got to go to my nephew Addison and Tessa's wedding. The reception was at the University of Utah's home field and Tanner sucked that in.....He LOVES the Uof U. I am very proud of all my kids and I cannot imagine my life without any of them!!

Britany made Drill Team

Brittany tried out for the High School drill team her Freshman year and she made it. She was very excited. She was able to dance in the football games as well as some of the basketball games and the 4th of July parade.

She even danced in the State football game and it started snowing right before half-time when they were performing. Come rain or snow they still pulled it off even with very thin shoes.
She has become very flexible as she has been training for her dances and getting into shape. With the exception of the 5:30 am practices, because Brittany loves to sleep, she is loving every minute of it.
So I have looked through my pictures to see what I could update with and there has been so much I will just have to put them all in so bare with me. Loren and I went to Vegas for a week. He had a conference there so he invited me to go it was a lot of fun. We ate at the rainforest cafe and walked through a lot of the casino's to see the sites. We had a very good time!!

She also participated in the homecoming events of powder-puff football, which is the Junior girls playing football against the Senior girls, This is an all out game they wear pads and tackle each other so they have a lot of fun playing. All of the kids have been very busy. The two boys, Jeremy and Tanner, are playing football. Brittany and Tianna are running Cross-Country and Brittany is on the High School drill team. They are all very involved but are loving every minute of it!! Loren and I are running every which way with work and the kids activities and we could not be happier. We are very Blessed for the kids and life we have.
